Submissions open for sales based categories Album of the Year and International Album of the Year only. Deadline is January 10, 2012 at 5pm EST. This means your package must be delivered to the CARAS office by this time.
CARAS is pleased to present an enhanced user experience for the submission process. Thanks to the technological and creative expertise of Yangaroo, the process has been streamlined for ease of use with a new look and new components.
CARAS is excited that you are considering submitting to the JUNO Awards. The submission process is an important step in the recognition of Canadian talent. There is a lot of information to take in when submitting so please take the time to review the information and complete all requested forms. Don’t worry, we won’t leave you hanging. The CARAS staff is available to assist with your submission questions while a dedicated team of tech reps at Yangaroo will be waiting by the phones to answer any technical issues.
If this is your first time accessing the site, you must click on the Sign Up link below in order to create your username and password. Your CARAS membership id will not work here and you must create a new user ID each year as we do not keep your personal information on file.
You will need the following before you begin:
- Short artist biography (200 words)
- Electronic photo of artist
- Contact information for the publicist and manager (if applicable)
- For technical categories (Songwriter, Producer, Recording Engineer. Recording Package, Video & Music DVD) we will require signatures or email confirmation from the producer, director, etc. so we know they are aware you are submitted on their behalf.
- A printer! Once you complete the online portion you will need to print out the required forms and send in with copies of your CD/DVD.
